Hi everyone, Here are five more photos taken by contributor Moss E. Hulsey, all GE C40-8W's, and all units I previously had photos of. In two cases, I may have two shots from the same roll. In the case of C40-8W #818 the location looks almost the same, and the unit is the same, but the first photo was from July 1995 and today's is from May 1993. Plus, the lighting is different, and the unit coupled to the rear is facing the opposite direction, so those are not from the same roll. More curious are two of the three photos of C40-8W #866. I would guess that the photo I have credited to The Houser Collection was by Moss, and he dated it January 1994. Today's photo by Moss is dated February 1994, which is probably the processing date on the slide. Location for both is just north of Tower 55, before all the freeway construction changed the blue sky backdrop considerably. Enjoy! |
