Hi everyone, Here are five more photos from Curt Jans, including the last of the C44-9W's and the first of the C40-8W's. If you have spent a lot of time studying photographs of red and silver Santa Fe GE's, you have probably noticed that the air conditioners often get switched around. Note that in all three photos of C40-8W #835, the air conditioner is different in one way or another. The latest 2001 photo shows the air conditioner to be BNSF orange, a 1998 photo shows it to be red without stripes, and in 1994 it appears to be red with stripes. The last two red ones are pretty similar in color, but the orientation of the grille shows that they are indeed different. Enjoy! |
