Hi everyone, Here are the obligatory five Santa Fe units for the month. All five are C40-8W's, including two units I did not previously have photos of. While probably not the most popular angle, it is rather unusual to get rear uncoupled shots like this one of C40-8W #898. Too bad it is the only photo I have of the unit. I prefer such angles as additions to complement more traditional rosters or better yet overhead rosters. Still, that was the direction the sun was shining and that was the direction the locomotive was pointed and that is the direction the track goes, so I took what I could get. Enjoy! |
