Hi everyone,
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. My annual online birthday party has become a belated one. Friend and contributor Aaron Remkus has been riding motorcycles for over 20 years, and my birthday happened to be the day of his first professional race at the AMA Supercross at Texas Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys). Let's just say I was far more excited to be a part of that than to be turning 31. Even my actual party is delayed until the 19th, and I am going to be hard pressed to make the belated party as well since I will be at a train show in New Braunfels, TX until 4:00pm. As for the here and now, I have five photos of former BN units all still in BN paint, but with BNSF markings. For a few years, only the units that were to be renumbered got this treatment, but now the BN logos are dissapearing. Two of the units featured today are renumbered, and three are not, and it should be fairly obvious which case applies. Enjoy! |
