Hi everyone,
With this set of five ex-Santa Fe blue and yellow B23-7's I am now up to 38, which is over half of the 75 on the BNSF roster. I can't say I have more than half of very many models featured, so that is definitely a success. Once again, I have another one of the photos of a GE with large BNSF sublettering, B23-7 #4270. Also for those into details, note that B23-7 #4261 is the last of the 1980 built series and B23-7 #4262 is the first of the 1985 built series. The most obvious spotting difference I see is the trucks. Of course the older units have the more modern design, and the newer units appear to have the older design, most likely the result of trading in old parts to be used on the new locomotives. Enjoy! |
