GP50 #3168 is the last of this batch of blue and yellow BNSF units from Mark R. Lynn. Now it's time for some Heritage I repaints. These photos are also from Mark, and include the first photo of a GP15-1 I've posted to the site. It has been a while since I've seen a before and after to point out. While this is not a major change, it appears that more than just GE's have their air conditioners change color. In May 1998, I caught GP7 #1318 in fresh paint with a green air conditioner, and Mark caught the same unit in March 1999 with a yellow one. I have to say in this case, the off color A/C actually looks better. An interesting splash of color on the roof. Enjoy! |
