I'm still not done with all the double stack cars, but if you didn't catch the hint last month regarding a return to motive power and you do not frequent the BN site where I've been working pouring out the BN SD40-2's, the wait is over. I'm back to BNSF motive power, at least until November. As many BNSF SD40-2's as there are, the majority are still in predecessor paint, so these Heritage I painted SD40-2's are not as easy to come by as you may think, especially if you are a selective photographer that insists on the locomotive being front uncoupled. It took me three years to put together a CD of 36. One thing I must point out among today's photos is out of the 36 SD40-2's I'm about to post, SD40-2 #6375 is the only one of the lot that should be of interest to most owners of undecorated "early" Kato SD40-2's.
