Message of the day - August 7, 2003:

Hi everyone,

Before anyone managed to point it out, I noticed that I was missing the buider number and date for 4530 on the C44-9W roster page, so that detail is taken care of. Now maybe the disturbing dreams of unix shell scripts will go away.

One of today's photos is a little special, but only for those of you like Wes Carr who find Triple Crown Roadrailer trains running on the BNSF interesting. They are hard to catch on film since they tend to leave Ft. Worth at about 8:00pm, when the sun is not usually very high in the sky. A few years ago Wes mentioned one of his goals was to catch a roadrailer train with a single Heritage II C44-9W. Hopefully he was just down the road waiting for C44-9W #4880 on June 28, 2000. I'm sure he would perfer an action shot to this roster, but the opportunity was there. Knowing Wes, he has probably done a better job than I on the subject.

Enjoy!
