Hi everyone,
As you might expect, spending a full day in Kingman, Arizona on the BNSF's former ATSF mainline is a turkey shoot, and I should expect more than five trains in a day. Well, here are five more, and once again they are all C44-9W's. This time, we do not even get the benefit of one Heritage I unit to mix it up. I did also shoot one train with a red and silver BNSF C44-9W, but did not manage a decent roster of that unit. Not that these broadside views are spectacular formula rosters, breaking not only the 3/4 angle rule, but also the 50mm lens rule. My only regret is that the lighting on the latter three did not favor shooting the nose, where the interesting Hertiage II nose logo and paint variations exist. Enjoy! |
