Hi everyone,
We continue the Mark R. Lynn show with another batch of five ex-BN locomotives still in BN paint BNSF-ized in one way or another. This time there is plenty of variety when it comes to locomotive models, with all being different except that two are GP38-2's. Even these two are a bit different, as there are several detail differences between the 1973 built GP38-2 #2266 and GP38-2 #2374 built in 1980. The radiator grilles and air filter box are the two features that are easiest to point out. Others such as the exhaust silencer and Q-fans on the post-1980 design are not so easy to point out without overhead photos. Enjoy! |
