This has not been one of my best months, but at least I did manage to get trackside several times. I never did get any roster shots of new power that I'm proud of. I must admit I got more satisfaction out of shooting the builder plate of ES44AC #6036 than this photo that I'm sharing since as much builder data as I consume from sources like Robert C. Del Grosso, I'd like to give back some original information to him and any other who collect and share such data. The rear uncoupled shot of ES44AC #5780 while not my favorite angle is still useful as reference. If for no other reason, it might be useful just in case you heard of but never actually saw the unusual location for the rear headlight on these locomotives. Enjoy! |
