Hi everyone,
Thanks to another August family vacation, I've had several opportunities to get trackside in places other than Texas. On one day of the trip, my dad and I were to pick up my mom and my sister at the Pasco, WA airport. As luck would have it, there was about a three hour gap between flights, so that allowed about a 2 hour window to see what I could find in the area. Fortunately, the BNSF Pasco yard is very close to the airport, and there was enough activity to make quota. The most notable pic of the group is not my best effort, but it is a particularly rare subject, being one of two former Texas Mexican GP60's, GP60 #168. At least it was rear uncoupled and the trucks are silver so the high sun isn't quite as objectionable. Enjoy! |
