I'm halfway done with the double stack cars, and to make things come out right, I'm slipping in a couple shots from new contributor Tim Petrishen. Tim is the second person to e-mail me PhotoCD files, so this makes the second and third images to come by e-mail. I have several more images from Tim to post to the BN site. One of Tim's shots should be of particular interest to HO modellers who would like to use Kato's recent SD40-2 model to model a BNSF SD40-2. I wrote up a little feature model page last month on BNSF units that closely resemble the Kato model, and with the addition of Tim's shot, I now have both sides of BNSF SD40-2 #6915. I'm a little bummed to see Tim's shot, as it shows that the headlight has been lowered, which makes for a little more work if you want to model this unit accurately. The other three shots are of five unit articulated double stack cars. Just like before, these shots are of the entire car, and shots of the units making up each car will be soon to follow. After these cars, I'll start on a CD with a variety of BNSF power from another new contributor, Kevin Hubbard. Enjoy! |
