Hi everyone,
Now it's time for some BNSF covered hoppers. There is a bit more variety among these, and in general, the BNSF logo is larger on these cars than on a typical boxcar. Just a little aesthetic thing that floats my boat. Large logos are not the norm today, as all of these cars have external ribs. I suppose I should pay more attention to what I am doing and identify the builder and type of these, but since I do most of this between 11:00pm and 12:00am, I tend to get a bit lazy sometimes. I'll put that work off until I get started on a decent freight car section. This time next year, I should have enough to do a decent job on one. Maybe I'll even have 36 BNSF green cars by then. I'm getting pretty close. Enjoy! |
