Hi everyone,
Today's five images are once again a variety of three bay covered hoppers. There are a few variations in lettering on these five, the most unique of the five being BNSF 423658. I would guess this is one of the first cars painted in the Santa Fe inspired BNSF brown/tuscan. The horizontal striping above and below the reporting marks is more of a BN practice. This is common for BNSF cars painted green (which are not that common anyway) but this early BNSF variation may be even less common. Enjoy! |
