Since I have not posted many photos lately, it is kind of hard to establish any theme, but a couple days ago, I posted 10 shots of the most numerous model on the BN roster, the SD40-2. Might as well continue by posting photos of the most numerous model on the BNSF, the C44-9W. I don't have very many shots of BNSF C44-9W's in the 4300's, so these five certainly help fill a void. For those of you interested in something a little different, the best I can do is point out the photo of C44-9W #4331. Keen eyes will notice that the third unit looks a little different. Back in fall 1999, this was the last unit running around on the system sans Heritage II striping and decals. And to think I almost cropped that out of the photo! Enjoy! |
