Hi everyone,
On September 16, 2000, I saw a particularly interesting intermodal train in Houston, TX. Among the many subjects of interest were these two Gunderson double stack cars, a Maxi IV three unit articulated car with 53' wells and another Maxi I five unit articulated car with 40' wells. This time the Gunderson was not originally a BNSF car, but is a former SP. Note the "Maxi Stack" lettering and lack of BNSF logos on BNSF #237091. This train also featured the first Trinity three unit articulated car with 53' wells that I had seen in BNSF paint. Those photos will be posted later this month. Enjoy! |
