Hi everyone,
Took a day off yesterday to purchase a new computer to use for a webserver. The pages you are looking at now are served by a Sun with a 50 MHz processor. Now I've moved all the way up to 167 MHz. Who-hoo! Once I get a 36 GB drive, those of you with analog modems are going to suffer as I'll be replacing a lot of the old 640X400 images with 800X600. Hope they are worth the wait! Anyway, now it is back to another Maxi IV, BNSF #211181 and another five unit. I'm having to scrounge a little now, with a more common model, a Gunderson Maxi III. At least you can actually buy a nice model very similar to BNSF #240752 in HO scale. I have a model of a BNSF Maxi III in N scale, but it may be the only one in the world painted that way. Enjoy! |
