Hi everyone,
I still have a few Auto Max cars left, but today all auto racks are of the 89' 4" TTX flat with BNSF rack variety. And I do have some variety to point out today. BNSF has quite a few racks in the 32600-33672 class of racks built in 1999. Two typical examples are ETTX 711340 and ETTX 711887. I have one similar ETTX car ETTX 810060, however I cannot find the rack, BNSF 30684, in Del Grosso's book. This is the only rack I have photographed that features a BNSF circle logo on each end. While I am not sure about the last one, the ETTX cars typically have tri-level racks. I also have a couple TTGX cars, TTGX 930366 and TTGX 940180, which both appear to be tri-levels. The racks that correspond to these two cars are BNSF 21392 and BNSF 23031, neither of which I saw listed in Del Grosso's book so all I can say is that both appear to be bi-levels. In the case of the last rack the end door style does not make it easy to tell whether the rack is indeed a bi-level or not. Enjoy! |
