Hi everyone,
Here are the last five auto racks, all TTGX bi-levels. Had I been planning a grande finale, it would have been a better idea to save a variety of racks for last. Rather than make more links to today's five photos, I may as well recap the 70 photos of 46 cars. While each car is unique in some way, even if just by having a unique road number, I have samples of six different varieties to point out. I have two varieties of bi-level with BNSF 300236 being the exception while the TTX TTGX cars are more the norm. There is plenty of variety within the TTGX cars, so I really can not pick out a representative sample. Color of the rack as well as color and location(s) of the BNSF logo vary from car to car, so pick whatever you like. For the tri-level cars, BNSF 306141 is the stand out with it's unusually tall 20'2" rack and that large BNSF logo which is missing from the rest of the racks that large that I have managed to photograph. BNSF 303061 is a more typical tri-level, and if not for the dual BNSF logos and larger black patches for TTX logo and reporting marks, ETTX 810060 would not look much different than the rest of the ETTX cars. Probably most interesting of all are the new Auto Max cars such as BNSF 314152. Athearn's recent release of their HO scale model of this car is what prompted me to check my photo collection for a sampling of BNSF auto racks. Enjoy! |
