Hi everyone,
Here are five more BNSF flatcars, all of the bulkhead variety, all from the Kodak DCS 760 digital camera, and all from Montana in October 2003. Grizzly sure does offer a nice backdrop (Glacier National Park) for a couple of these photos. Robert C. Del Grosso's BNSF 2002 Loco Review and Freight Car Directory has been quite helpful chasing down the history of most BNSF railcars, it is a 2002 book, and cars such as BNSF #562071 may be too new to be included. My latest Official Railway Equipment Register (April 2000) does not list this car either, so based on these two sources, the car is likely built between late 2001 and 2003. Enjoy! |
