Hi everyone,
The general subject remains BNSF flatcars, and today there are five samples of flatcars specially equipped for aircraft parts service. Better (loaded) photos can be found in Robert Del Grosso's BNSF 2002 Loco Review and Freight Car Directory, which mentions that these cars were modified at the Havelock car shop from various premerger cars. I spent almost an hour comparing my January 1997 and April 2002 ORER's, and my best guess is the 89' 4" cars are former ATSF 295XXX, and the 61' 6" car is a former BN 630XXX. Enjoy! |
