Well, I know this may be a little hard on motive power fans, especially since I have not been posting much at all lately, but it's time for my second marathon posting of freight cars. This time it is 72 covered hoppers (unless I decide a few are a little too blurry to bother posting). It took me a while to build up a good collection of freight car slides since I have been rather selective of what I shoot, unless I'm just burning the last couple frames of a roll. I do feel that freight cars are an important part of this site since I have not noticed many other sources for BNSF freight car photos. Books and magazines are doing a very good job making motive power shots available, but they do not cover freight cars very well. I sure would like to build a decent intermodal section (my strongest modelling interest) but haven't got many shots of cars, trailers, containers, or other equipment yet. Enjoy! |
