Hi everyone,
Here are more covered hoppers. May 12, 1998 was a pretty good day for freight car shooting in Alliance Yard in Haslet, TX (north of Ft. Worth). I think there were about 7 freshly painted cars all lined up in a row, 5 hoppers and two boxcars. Four of them were close enough together in numbers to all be posted on the same day. Strangely, the two cars closest together in number show the most noticable difference. 417435 and 417438 are just 3 numbers apart, yet one has a BNSF logo while the other does not. Enjoy! |
