Hi everyone,
Here are five more covered hoppers (17 down, 55 to go). Today I finally got a mix of cars I kind of like to have. All are the same model (ACF 3 bays if I know my hoppers) but there are three different lettering schemes. The first two display very plain helvetica type lettering and no logo. The last three cars have BNSF lettering in a more stylish serif font. The last two cars also have the BNSF logo. All but the third have reflective safety decals across the bottom of the car side. The scheme shown on the last two cars seems to be most common now, and I'm sure it's by far the most popular among modellers and so far, model manufactures seem to have figured that out. Enjoy! |
