Hi everyone,
Today brings all SD70MAC's from new contributor Wes Carr, one in a Grinstein green, and the rest in Heritage II. In all cases, the unit is only a few months old at the time of Wes' photo. It is rather rare to see a SD70MAC in service other than unit coal or grain trains, and it is also unusual to see them mixed with other power, but both abnormalities apply in this shot of SD70MAC #9897. Sights like this are not common, but fresh units built in Mexico had to work their way north somehow, and this is part of 9897's trip to coal country. Enjoy! |
