Hi everyone,
Lately these SD75M's have been rather elusive, especially on the lead of trains. Perhaps they simply do not make it to north central Texas very often any more due to maintenance locations being rather far away. From what I hear on some e-mail discussion lists these units tend to need maintenance more than they should. Then again, there simply are not that many of them to shoot. I now have 15 of 51 of the ex-Santa Fe's which have always been elusive and 16 of 25 of the early BNSF warbonnets, which is pretty good for a relatively new and uncommon model. Enjoy! |
