This month I only got trackside during the daylight once, and only got 4 decent roster shots, so did not quite make quota. The opportunity was there, as I picked a bad spot to set up for the first train. My initial efforts to chase it south were not a success, so I figured my luck might be better at other locations to the north. While not the level of success I hoped for, looking back at January 2012, my luck was worse, as it took me two days to accomplish what I did in one this month. As for this batch of pix, the one I selected from the backlog was something I ran across while digging for Warbonnets last month. The number series was correct, but the pic I found of case of SD75M #8256 was not in the paint scheme I was looking for. In the grand scheme of things, this is still a nice find, and probably a more rare subject. Especially since it's in service as lead unit. Enjoy! |
