Hi everyone,
The good start to 2018 continues! It slowed down a tad on Saturday 1/13, as I did not make quota, and only took 3 pix all day. After an easy start with SD40-2 #1627 I chose to chase down ET44C4 #3778 which wound up taking a bit longer than planned, but ultimately I did get it, but nothing else for that day. Fortunately, the weather was also nice today on Sunday 1/14, so I tried my luck again. I did not make quota today either, but with yesterday's head start, I did not really feel a need to. Again, I got of to an easy start finding another catch of the day, B40-8W #541, but this photo was actually my third effort on this subject of the day providing the best result. As it turned out, I missed another ET44C4 due to my efforts to improve on my 541 pic (which would have meant making quota for the day) but I'll take it. I have something to show for my weekend efforts, and that's what really matters. Goal achieved, mission successful. Enjoy! |
