Hi everyone,
Here are more warbonnets by Mark R. Lynn. These are more SD75M's, and are among the first locomotives delivered new in BNSF paint. Very little was changed from the Santa Fe paint they would have worn, other than the side lettering, but the change is still quite noticable. This tall BNSF lettering did not last long, as other than this series of 26 units, only a handful of Santa Fe units were relettered with tall BNSF lettering. Some examples of other units wearing this early variation are B40-8W #521, B40-8W #581, and C40-8W #814. Enjoy! |
