It's been a while since I've served up a fresh catch of BNSF subjects. I certainly have not been making it easy on myself since I've been hung up on doing nothing but new "wedgie" logo locomotives and cars. So I hope you can stomach a few cars thrown in with the locomotives so I can make the usual "quota" of five photos for the day. I also took several photos of new Trinity covered hoppers but I think I have covered that subject well. Catch of the day was ES44AC #5986, unfortunately I did not manage to snag a photo of the builder plate so I'm not sure if it is one month old or two months old. I've gone out on a limb to guess it was built in June 2006. I do know firsthand that 5980 was built in May 2006, but 5986 doesn't look like it has two month's worth of dirt on it just yet. Enjoy! |
