Hi everyone,
I did get trackside once this month, but alas I did not make quota. Rather than wait for another fresh catch opportunity, I do still have plenty of that "Dash 9 Boredom" material to get caught up on. So why not post four of those plus one pic of something different? That way there is at least a little variety beyond road numbers and paint scheme variations. Of course the stand out picture today is the one that is not a Dash 9. What took me so long to post this pic of B23-7 #4263, I don't know. The light is good enough that the poles and wires in the background are excusable flaws in my book. Digging back into the collection like this does remind me that some roster updates are in order. I have not posted a photo of a B23-7 since April 2005. Between then and now, it appears that all units of this model were retired between 2007 and 2008. At the rate I am posting photos of these, it might be 8 more years before the next one! It is unlikely that there will ever be another one featured as a "catch of the day" if indeed they have been off the roster for about 5 years now. Enjoy! |
