Hi everyone,
Here is one last BNSF SD70MAC from Mark R. Lynn plus four of my own. Like last year, it looks like this will be another month of MACs. I have not accomplished much this month, and perhaps won't accomplish much more. I have made the switch from ISDN to SDSL, and SDSL has been pitifully unreliable, as many of you have probably noticed. I am sure this is not normal as a couple friends I have are overjoyed with their DSL service and speed, but I'm not so lucky. I have received some mail asking what the problem was, and I'm sure I'd get more if the connection would stay up long enough for people to get a page with my e-mail address on it. At least the main pages on www.trainpix.com (not at my house) still work. Hopefully I will get this resolved, as I really would like to have a 416k connection as I planned, or even a 320k and now 208k connection I have been switched down to would still be faster, but it still does not to work reliably. I am trying to work with ISP support to fix this. Sure would be nice to get 3 times the speed for 2/3 of the price, and I will not give up and go back to ISDN unless I simply can't get this to work. Sorry for the problems. It will be for the better eventually, but it sure would be nice if this all worked in the first place, as it has been a joy up to this point. Enjoy! |
