Hi everyone,
I did get trackside a few times in June 2012, but once again I was busy scanning slides, this time in preparation for the Santa Fe Railway Historical & Modeling Society. Funny that I would attend that and not the FOBNR the week before, but it seemed like the ATSF side deserved a little attention. You might say I've been kinda holding out on some of that stuff. Getting back on the subject of BNSF, despite getting trackside a couple times, I came up short on photos for this month. So I reached back to May 5th for a couple more and decided to go with a variety of GE's for today. I had almost forgotten about B40-8W #534! I did intend to post that one up since it has been a long time, apparently over 5 years since I've got a decent pic of one! Nice to see some out and running again. As for pix taken during June, I was thankful to finally catch another ES44C4. After quite the dry spell I did chase down one in May, but I was not quite satisfied with that pic. I did well enough on ES44C4 #6856, so here it is, the 4th of that model I've managed to post. I'm only a few hundred behind. Enjoy! |
