Sunshine! Woo hoo! Lets get out and take some pix! Wait, it gets better, BNSF is running plenty of trains! This year has been a challenge so far, but June 28 was kind of like the good old days all over again. The catch of the day, GP38-2 #2323, is consistent with that theme. We met once before way back in 2003, with BNSF 2323 still looking good in BN green. I can only wonder what any Frisco fans out there that got to know this unit as SLSF 468 might have to say about all this. I'll just say she cleans up nicely in fresh orange and black. Last but not least, in memory of Mike Selby, I present ES44AC #5913. I am still not quite sure what to make of that T9 thing that just so happened to show up as this coal train passed by, but there it is. |
