Message of the day - March 7, 2005:

Hi everyone,

Well, I am still having fun with that xbox, but I think I will leave the fun I am having up to the imagination. I will simpy say old school and leave it at that. Or if you consider Vision Street Wear to be old school then perhaps this is new school, or maybe middle school. I haven't heard that one before. But enough grumpy style talk, I doubt he is hacking his xbox. Anyway, I did manage to sneak in some photoshop time today, so let's talk photos.

I got myself jonesin' for some GP7's with yesterday's digitals so here are some scans of slides from back in the day when digital was not even a fantasy in the back of my mind. In a way 1999 seems like yesterday, but for some people 1999 is way different than 2005. As the new BNSF logo starts showing up on motive power and other equipment I think this 1999 stuff will finally have some significance but for now it is nothing particularly special, perhaps even sad for Santa Fe die hards. I must say that some of those Santa Fe employees must have really outdone themselves for the BNSF to still be making productive use of motive power built over 50 years ago, and rebuilt over 20 years ago.

Enjoy!
