Hi everyone,
Today is the last day of five ex-Santa Fe blue and yellow more GP35's for a while. I have three scans left, and two are pretty much identical except for a pole is growing out of the top on one, so I may as well select the other photo. As for today's photos, in the early 80's the Santa Fe was testing several modifications to enhance locomotives, such as the shields above the air filters as shown on more GP35 #2631. I am drawing a blank as to the name for this "detail part" but whatever function it provided must not have been that significant as very few units still have this modification present. Enjoy! |
