Hi everyone,
This month's theme: "March of the Wedgies." I am coming down the home stretch now, with another batch of five BNSF wedgie logo hoppers made by Trinity Industries. I have 16 more, then I'll have to decide whether to continue with double stack cars or get back to motive power. Lately I must admit I find the cars more interesting. Maybe BNSF will run more new power in Texas so I'll have enough motive power subjects to photograph. Five locomotives in one afternoon would be a tall order for wedgies, but it would not be hard to get five HII's in an afternoon. And don't forget, it only counts if they are lead units, rear facing DPU's, or units parked front uncoupled. I wonder how many years it will take for that situation to reverse. Enjoy! |
