Message of the day - March 15, 2008:

Hi everyone,

Despite sleeping in well past noon, I did get my act together and get trackside after noting the near perfect weather conditions. BNSF had their act together too, as I managed to quickly bag 4 rosters and then after a short wait for the Amtrak, the 5th could then get on the move. Nothing particularly notable, other than perhaps SD70MAC #9923 may be a good repaint candidate, since it's nose is prime for new paint. Also if that battery box door is indeed fresh BNSF orange, then this unit's paint has faded quite a bit though it has seen a good 10 years of wear. I'd rather be pointing out something new or at least freshly painted, but at least the trains were running.

Enjoy!
