Hi everyone,
Since I had two photos of SDP40 #6327 yesterday, one more ex-BN SD40 had to wait until today. SD40 #6320 wraps up the rare and unusual, with the other four shots being much more common ex-BN SD40-2's. I must say I still find SD40-2's plenty interesting, and the overhead shots of SD40-2 #6376 and SD40-2 #6396 show that all important walkway color among other details. I generally expect to see black walkways on BN units, and grimy green may be easy to mistake for grimy black. I am pretty confident that 6396 features green walkways based on the photo. For those that remember the strobes that BN used before ditch lights became commonplace, the 6376 still has its strobes in 1999. Kind of makes me want to dig through Heritage I repaint photos to see if any repaints might still have strobes. Enjoy! |
