AP Maxi #212401 represents the last of the ex-BN double stack cars, at least for this CD. It probably represents the most heavily weathered sample of these cars as well. Almost makes me wonder why I shot it. I do not have to wonder why I shot of SD60M #9294 as it is the first two window wide cab SD60M I remember shooting in BN paint with BNSF patch. I am not sure whether I was more intrigued by this unit or the fact that it is coupled to a UP C40-8W, which is not a common sight at BNSF Alliance Yard in Haslet, TX. This is it for the ex-BN locomotives and ex-BN three unit articulated double stack cars. I still have a bit more spring cleaning to do with respect to other three unit double stack cars, so expect more of the 53' variety and a new subject for BNSF locomotives - SD70MAC's. Enjoy! |
