Hi everyone,
The weather was pretty decent this weekend, so I went out to see what I could get. I was disappointed to get skunked on the intermodal action but I did manage to come up with a couple particularly interesting locomotives. I have something old and something new, with the something old being SD9 #6119 and something new being ES44DC #7659. I was fortunate enough to catch the 7659 still in a location where I could shoot a telephoto of the builder plate from a safe distance, so I have the builder number and date to add to the photo as I like to do. This often is a challenge to do with units under a year old that are not yet documented in Robert C. Del Grosso's excellent series of BNSF Locomotive Reviews. Enjoy! |
