Message of the day - May 28, 2017:

Hi everyone,

The dry spell is over thanks to the 12th Annual "24 Hours @ Saginaw" event by the NRHS North Texas Chapter from 7:00pm May 26, 2017 to 7:00pm May 27, 2017.

Last year, the event was a dud with an all time low for train count. This year's count tied for the second best, and I do have 10+ pix to show for my time spent there. Of course it was nice to see many familiar faces, and meet a few new railfans as well.

I was there early enough to get one photo in daylight, though it was hazy and fading fast. I got the flashes set up before sunset, so I was ready for this twilight shot of BNSF 9080 to start off late night parade. I had my fill by about 2:30am, got a decent night's sleep, and came back for a couple more pix between 5:00pm and 7:00pm the next evening.

Enjoy!
