Hi everyone,
Today I am posting the last four from this batch ot ex-Santa Fe units that have been relettered, but not repainted. One shot is from contributor Chris Stewart and the rest are my own. All four of the ex-SF's are SD45-2's. The fifth shot the first of a batch of new Heritage II SD70MAC's. If anyone out there knows the builder dates for any or all of the following, I'd appreciate it if you could e-mail them to me at cbiel@sbcglobal.net: 9871, 9880, 9886, 9897, 9925, 9931, 9935, 9945, 9946, 9948, 9949, 9954, 9965, 9969, 9970, 9978, 9987, and 9990. If I don't get dates soon, I may hold off on these until Del Grosso's next book comes out (early July, I think). I have lots of other stuff to post that I do have builder dates for, thanks to Del Grosso's books. Perhaps I should get a subscription to Diesel Era and/or Extra 2200 South as I think builder info on new deliveries is included in those periodicals. Regardless, I do have the numbers and dates for 9838-9864, so I'll be posting more from that class next time. Enjoy! |
