Message of the day - November 19, 2003:

Hi everyone,

Today, I have some nice fresh photos from my still feeling new Kodak DCS 760 digital camera. Of course all trains I saw on the BNSF had either C44-9W's or SD70MAC's for power. At least not all of the units are in Heritage II paint.

The most interesting subject of the day is the one I have both an action and roster shot of. I am not sure if C44-9W #4030 is four or five months old, but I'm guessing it was built in August making it a relatively fresh catch.

I also shot double stack cars until my 512 MB Compact Flash card filled up, which does not take long on a 6 megapixel camera. Today it was good for 63 photos stored in Kodak's raw DCR file format. Speaking of double stack cars, it is November and I do have a tendency to post freight car shots in November and February. Maybe it is time for a little intermodal blitz. We'll see.

Enjoy!
