Message of the day - November 27, 2004:

Hi everyone,

A certain Robert out there I believe has commented that I must have picked up the luck that Moss Hulsey used to have. Well, today I picked him up and we made the trek to Saginaw to see what BNSF was running this afternoon. On the way to Cleburne I swung by Venus, where 10 units (7 BNSF and 3 UP) were idling, but only GP50 #3173 and a UP SD90MAC were in proper roster poses. We swung by North Yard to grab another sitting duck, C44-9W #4990, and we noted that it has one of those displaced warbonnet air conditioners. We caught a few southbounds on the way to and from the Chamber of Commerce parking lot, But the catch of the day that we shall attribute to our combined luck force is my first shot of a "GEVO" on the lead of a train, and Moss' second. Just as light was getting low with that warm yellow tint, we managed to bag AC4400CW #5733, and that made the difference between a good day and a great day!

Enjoy!
