I do not intend to waste much time getting out these Maxi I photos, so here are the five units of the second car featured yesterday, Maxi I #237276. This is another "patch job" car where BNSF lettering and number were applied without repainting the car. Del Grosso's BNSF 2002 book lists this as a former SFLC car, but as was the case with Maxi I #237087 a few days back that Del Grosso lists as ex-BN, I am not entirely convinced based on the paint. I believe the SFLC cars were former Maersk cars like Maxi I #237228 which are a different shade of blue with different patch locations. I have seen reference to Rail Bridge cars having RBLX reporting marks at one time, but cannot confirm this in my meager collection of ORER's. Enjoy! |
