Hi everyone,
Today it is time to welcome Mark R. Lynn to the growing list of contributors for the BNSF archive. I met him once, perhaps twice at train shows right when I was getting into slide collecting, and before I was really into photography myself, and scarfed up about as much BN, Santa Fe, and Mopac as he had or I could afford. I think I ran out of money before he ran out of good slides, but that was a while ago. Of all the photographers I have received slides from one way or another, I consider Mark one of the best, along with Ken Kessler, Ken Church, Randy Keller, and Jim Shepard. Mark's photo credit page has been around a long time, as his were some of the first slides I posted on the BN and Santa Fe sites, but since I bought them and they were part of my collection, I didn't know much about him, and since he didn't send them for me to scan and return, I didn't list him in the contributors section. Now that I am in closer communication with him, I'll probably be updating his credits page soon with something more appropriate. Enjoy! |
