I had some more locomotive photos taken earlier this month in Tulsa, OK ready to go, but a member of an intermodal modeling group I subscribe to happened to be discussing a car that sounds an awful lot like this one so I may as well get these photos out to make life interesting for the intermodal modeler community. Del Grosso's 2002 BNSF Locomotive and Freight Car directory lists this series of cars as former BN 64980-64999, but I have a feeling they also had an owner prior to BN, or why would they say "K-Line" and "Rail-Bridge" instead of something more BN-esque like "Innovative Intermodal Service". Anyway, enjoy these photos of Maxi I #237087 and also note I have sister unit Maxi I #237082. While neither paint variation is something I would call particularly common, I suspect most of the cars in this series look like 237082 with the blue patches over the logos. Enjoy! |
