Message of the day - September 30, 2004:

Hi everyone,

We now return to the scheduled follow up of my trip to Tulsa earlier this month, as it would not be complete without at least one C44-9W photo, and I happen to have three, including an example of how not to take a roster shot. C44-9W #4092 is an example of a widecab unit with an open nose door. Normally this should not be photographed due to this horribly obscene flaw. I tried to conceal the open door as best I could by selecting the angle you see, so while it does not look like a smile missing a tooth, it is a tad off. I do not worry quite so much about open doors on standard cab units, as is the case with GP39-2 #2704. Even GP38X #2185 is sporting an open door, but once again, I did my best to conceal it.

Enjoy!
